2025 CIAC Ice Hockey State Championship, All-State Selection & team MVP
Darien High School senior Schafer Repsher (10/17/2008) is starting goalie for the Darien High School Varsity Blue Wave, currently ranked #1 in Connecticut with a 13-win streak (2/20/2026). For two years running, he’s been named a Player to Watch by GameTimeCT.
As a junior and first-time varsity player in 2024/2025, Schafer made 25 saves to lead Darien High School to its first CIAC Division 1 hockey championship win since 2016 (video) and was named Player of the Game. He was also a Division 1 CT Hockey Goalie of the Year nominee.
